1 on 1 Tournament Presented by Sprite is Back 👀

Week 2 was a full sprint: statement quarters, career nights, and clubs finding their rhythm fast. Friday set the tone with a one-point opener as Laces edged out Phantom. Then Hive outlasted Rose in a three-point finish even with Chelsea Gray erupting for 36 points and seven threes.

The weekend turned into a showcase of firepower. Mist opened up space against Lunar Owls behind a career-high 30 from Alisha Gray, while Vinyl controlled the pace against Breeze with a 30-piece from Rhyne Howard.

Sunday kept the intensity high as the Laces leaned on Jackie Young’s career-high 35 to edge the Rose, and Phantom responded with a strong two-way performance over Hive led by Aliyah Boston.

Monday closed with Paige Bueckers delivering a league-record 18 points in the first quarter on her way to a career-high 37 in Breeze’s win over Mist. Then Marina Mabrey putting on a shooting clinic with 31 points and nine threes as Lunar Owls beat Vinyl, notching their first win of the the season.

The 1 on 1 Tournament presented by Sprite Is Back

The 1 on 1 Tournament Presented by Sprite is officially back, and players will be competing for a $300,000 total prize pool.

How the tournament works

  • 10 minutes or first to 11 points, whichever comes first

The final Philly Watch Party at Stateside Live is almost here.

On January 30 join us for a pre-game party and watch party for Philly is Unrivaled presented by Xfinity.

The party gets started at 4:30 pm ET with giveaways and more surprises. Once the games get underway at 7:30 pm ET it will turn into a watch party with live streams of both games, Breeze at Phantom and Rose at Lunar Owls.

Hive Club Night

Hive Club Night is this Friday, with a pregame autograph session the first 200 fans in line!

When gates open, head straight to Fan Fest and our team will guide you to the practice court for player autographs with the Hive Basketball Club. You must have tickets for Friday night’s games to attend.

Hive Club Night Details

When: Autographs begin Friday when gates open.
Who: Available to the first 200 fans to arrive.
What to Bring: One physical item per person. Bring your club jerseys, shirts, posters, etc. If you need an item, the merch store will be open on your way in.
Where: Enter through Fan Fest and our team will guide you to the court.

Player of the Week

Week 1 Winner:

Chelsea Gray won the Week 1 Unrivaled Basketball Club Player of the Week award, earning 36.69% of the fan vote. After also winning the Opening Day award, Gray is 2/2 in our newsletter-voted award.

Week 2 was packed with big-time performances across every club, and the Miller Lite Player of the Game winners say it all. These eight nominees for the Unrivaled Basketball Club Player of the Week award owned their matchups in different ways, from scoring bursts to paint control to game-changing defense. Allisha Gray
Alisha powered Mist past the Lunar Owls with a career-high 30 points while going a perfect 3-of-3 at the line. She also added eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

Aliyah Boston
With two strong showings this week including 22 points with a career-high four blocks in Phantom’s win over Hive, AB owned the paint on both ends.

Alyssa Thomas
AT set the tone in Friday’s one-point win over Phantom with a team-high 19 points, six rebounds and four assists. The Engine followed it up Sunday with a double-double as the Laces beat Rose 70-66.

Jackie Young
Young scored a career-high 35 points to lead the Laces past Rose, going 13-of-19 from the field and 4-of-7 from three while adding three assists. She flipped the game in the third quarter, scoring 19 of the Laces’ 25 points in the frame to pull them back within one possession heading into the fourth.

Marina Mabrey
Marina Mabrey was lights-out from deep, finishing with 31 points including nine threes. The Owls needed a closer to secure their first win of the season and Marina answered.

Monique Billings
Billings was a steady interior presence all week, recording back-to-back double-doubles for Hive, including 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench in Hive’s win over Rose.

Paige Bueckers
A Week 2 full of headlines. Bueckers ranks third in the league in scoring, first in assists, is tied for first in game-winners, and is logging 19.8 minutes per game, tied for fourth-most in Unrivaled.

Rhyne Howard
Rhyne powered Vinyl all week, dropping 30 points against Breeze, while also adding seven rebounds and three steals. She followed that with 20 points against the Lunar Owls and stayed active defensively with two steals and two blocks.

Who Called Game?

In a week packed with one-possession finishes, it came down to who wanted the last look. These are the players who hit the game-winning shot for their club in each of Week 2’s eight games.

Allisha Gray (Mist)
Gray attacked, got to her spot, and secured the game-winner to cap a career-high night against the Owls.

Brittney Sykes (Laces)
In a next-bucket-wins game against the Phantom, Sykes rose and drilled the winner from deep to steal it for the Laces. It was Slim’s second game-winner of the season.

Jackie Young (Laces)
A career-high night deserved a signature finish. Young hit the game-winner to lift Laces past the Rose in a back-and-forth thriller.

Kelsey Mitchell (Hive)
Hive needed one last clean look, and Mitchell delivered at the rim to clinch a gritty win over Rose. It marked the expansion club’s first Unrivaled win, making it even more special.

Kelsey Plum (Phantom)
Plum got down-court and finished at the rim for her second game-winner of the season. After the game, KP and her clubmates had some fun in the post-game interview, too.

Marina Mabrey (Lunar Owls)
Step back. Splash. Game. Mabrey buried the game-winner from deep, giving the Owls their first win of the year as Hootie Hoos rang out at Sephora Arena.

Paige Bueckers (Breeze)
With Mist making a final push, Bueckers knocked down the dagger to seal her career-high 37-point performance.

Rhyne Howard (Vinyl)
After lighting it up all game against the Breeze, Howard hit the clincher to put Breeze away with a four-point play.
