Meanwhile, Stevens has been a defensive fortress, not allowing a single three-pointer in tournament play.

After a first-round bye, she's made quick work of her opponents, starting with a 7-0 run against Shakira Austin en route to an 11-4 win, followed by a dominant 12-2 quarterfinal performance over Rae Burrell.

🔜 The scoring champion meets the Cinderella story

Ogunbowale, known for her clutch tournament performances dating back to her Notre Dame days, enters after hard-fought 12-8 victories over both Skylar Diggins-Smith and former teammate Satou Sabally. Her offensive style has led to perfect free-throw shooting (4/4) and strong rebounding (8.0 rpg) in tournament play.

The story of the tournament might be Edwards, who shocked the bracket with a 12-0 shutout of No. 1 seed Breanna Stewart in the opening round.

The lowest remaining seed has proven it's no fluke, following up with a quarterfinal victory over Allisha Gray where she closed the game on a personal 6-0 run.

Edwards enters Friday tied with Stevens for allowing the fewest points in tournament play.
