In 1 Hour on TNT: Star-Studded Unrivaled Monday ⭐️

Two more games close out a jam-packed four-straight days of Unrivaled action. Don't forget to tune in for Mist vs Phantom and Laces vs Lunar Owls tonight on TNT!

Unrivaled Monday Preview 🏀

Early Identity Check
On Opening Day, Alanna Smith tied the Unrivaled single-game blocks record with five in her league debut. The 2025 WNBA Co-Defensive Player of the Year accounted for more than half the Mist’s blocks, setting an early defensive tone for the club. That presence mattered again Saturday, as the Mist closed out a 83–81 win over the Laces to move to 2-0, fueled by Breanna Stewart’s first double-double of the season and a career-high 28 points from Allisha Gray.

Meanwhile, two of the league’s four new head coaches meet for the first time as Roneeka Hodges leads the Phantom against Zach O’Brien and the Mist. There’s also history layered in. Phantom guard Natasha Cloud faces O’Brien, who served as her assistant coach with the New York Liberty this past season. O’Brien was also recently announced as a member of the Los Angeles Sparks’ 2026 coaching staff and will be coaching against his future player in Kelsey Plum, who is coming off a historic night.

The Phantom enter Monday at 1-1 after a statement win over the Lunar Owls on Saturday, highlighted by Plum tying the previous Unrivaled single-game regular season scoring record with 38 points while adding 11 assists. Aliyah Boston added her first career double-double, and Phantom BC recorded a league-record 23 assists in the win.

Response Required
The Laces went 0-2 against the Lunar Owls during the 2025 regular season and enter Monday still looking to flip the script, now sitting at 1-1 after a narrow loss to the undefeated Mist. What’s clear is how the Laces want to win. Their defense continues to anchor them, building off an Opening Day performance that limited Vinyl BC to the lowest scoring output in league history.

Saturday showed their resilience. Brittney Sykes poured in a career-high 29 points, and the Laces tied the league assist record with 23 in a two-point loss, signaling an offense that can keep pace with their defensive edge.

The Lunar Owls enter Monday at 0-2, searching for traction despite strong individual performances. Marina Mabrey is coming off a career-high 32-point night and sits among the league’s assist leaders, while Aaliyah Edwards continues to anchor the glass after opening the season with a double-double.
