Monday Madness Tonight on TNT ⏰

Vinyl at Hive, Mist at Laces, and a historic night in Philly.

Monday Preview

Tonight, it's Vinyl at Hive, followed by Mist at Laces. 🍿

Mist and Vinyl both picked up wins to open the week. Mist BC leaned on balance and depth in an 82-69 win over the Hive, with four players in double figures led by Breanna Stewart's 19 points. Alanna Smith added her first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, while Arike Ogunbowale came off the bench to finish at the rim for her second game-winner of the year.

Vinyl BC enters with confidence. Rae Burrell called game at the free throw line after a career-high 22-point performance while tying the league single-game steals record. Dearica Hamby posted her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds as Vinyl's physicality wore down the Laces.

Bounce Back Opportunity

Last meeting between the clubs resulted in a win for the Vinyl (89-66) and the second highest score this season, with Dearica Hamby dropping the Unrivaled record for points in a game at the time – 40, and the game winning bucket. Will she continue to dominate in this matchup?

The Hive looks to bounce back tonight. Monique Billings has been a rebounding leader so far this season, in top five for both offensive and defensive rebounds, and surpassed 100 career points.

Rae Burrell's career night showed what happens when Vinyl's perimeter game catches fire, and with Courtney Williams distributing assists and Brittney Griner producing off the bench, this group has multiple ways to score.

The Vinyl sit in 6th place, with the Hive close behind in 7th. This will be a pivotal head-to-head matchup for the club looking to secure that 6th spot in the playoffs.

Depth Meets Grit

With the Mist sitting 6-2 at the top of the standings, this Monday night matchup is going to be one to watch.

The last time the clubs played was on Jan. 10, and the Mist got the narrow 83-81 victory over the Laces in a game that saw Slim put up a career high 29 points and Allisha Gray leading for the Mist with 28.

There were 6 lead changes and 10 ties in their last matchup, but the Mist only ever led by 3 at most throughout the game, and the Laces reached a 11-point lead in the game before the Mist were able to climb back and finally win by 2.

Tonight, the Laces look to turn the tables from their last outcome. 🏀
