Voting for MVP 👑 is Open + The Race to The Playoffs Continues Tonight
Chelsea Gray closed the 1 on 1 Tournament presented by Sprite in impressive fashion. Tonight, it’s Laces vs Hive and Breeze vs Lunar Owls as the playoff race tightens.

The 1 on 1 Tournament presented by Sprite delivered exactly what it promised: the best of the best putting on a show. We witnessed statement performances in the semis, and a title decided by a moment that will long be remembered as Chelsea Gray was Crowned the One.
Now the spotlight swings back to the regular season and with just a few weeks left, every possession is shaping the playoff picture. The Unrivaled Playoffs Presented by Samsung Galaxy begin Feb. 28 and tickets are now available for the First Round in Miami at Sephora Arena, followed by the Semifinals on March 2 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the Championship on March 4 back in Miami at Sephora Arena.
New Threads
This matchup has real ripple effects. If Hive loses, Mist becomes the third club to clinch a playoff spot. On the floor, Laces bring steady two-way pressure with Brittney Sykes (18.9 points per game, 1.6 steals per game) and a deep group that can win possessions through physicality and control.
On the other side, Azurá Stevens is poised to make her Hive debut after the four-club trade on Feb. 9. They also come in with confidence after their Feb. 6 statement win over the Breeze where they posted their highest-scoring quarter (27 in the third) and erased a 15-point deficit.
If Hive is going to spring this upset, it starts with second chances and rim pressure from Monique Billings (14.5 PPG, 10.9 rebounds per game), plus real two-way impact from Sonia Citron (16.6 PPG, 1.2 blocks per game) and Kelsey Mitchell (17.4 PPG).

Get Right
Breeze is trying to steady the ship after their last outing ended in that painful two-point loss to Hive. But Paige Bueckers (25.0 PPG, 6.7 assists per game) continues to drive consistent creation with and Dominique Malonga (15.4 PPG, 10.6 RPG) anchoring the middle. Courtney Williams is also set to make her debut in Breeze threads after the recent trade.
For the Lunar Owls, Marina Mabrey (26.8 PPG) is playing at a pace most defenses can’t handle, and Aaliyah Edwards (22.3 PPG, 13.6 RPG) can turn missed shots into extra possessions in a hurry.

Season 2 Standings
Yes, Laces and Phantom have clinched, but the playoff seedings are still very much alive. With Laces sitting at 8-2 and Phantom at 8-3, their Friday night matchup to kickoff Week 6 can tighten or widen the gap at the top immediately.
After that, the finishing stretches matter just as much: Mist’s remaining slate with games against the Lunar Owls, Breeze, and Vinyl, will determine whether they’re entering the postseason as a comfortable seed or fighting for position.
And the middle is where it gets crowded fast: Hive at Rose and Vinyl at Breeze are direct “move-the-board” games, and the final day of the regular season includes Hive at Lunar Owls, a matchup that could matter a lot depending on how the next few nights break.

Top Season 2 Moments + Milestones

We’re at the point in the season where the story isn’t just who’s winning, it’s what’s being rewritten. Between huge single-game scoring nights, defensive records, and career point milestones approaching fast, the Season 2 ledger already looks different than it did a month ago. Here are the biggest markers so far, plus what’s next.
The 1 on 1 Tournament presented by Sprite featured countless moments that we won’t forget anytime soon. But seeing Chelsea Gray be Crowned the One has to be one of the best moments of the Unrivaled season to date.
Scoring record, rewritten twice: Dearica Hamby opened the floodgates with 40 points in Vinyl’s Jan. 11 win over Hive, the first 40-point game in Unrivaled history. Not long after, Marina Mabrey raised the bar again with 47 points in Philly against Rose.
A defensive record that jumped off the page: Saniya Rivers set the Unrivaled single-game record with six blocks on Jan. 9.
Single-game steals record: Sug Sutton (1/5 against the Lunar Owls), Brittney Sykes (1/12 vs. the Lunar Owls), and Rae Burrell (1/31 vs. the Laces) have all tied the single game steals record with 5.
Consecutive double-doubles record: On Feb. 6, Monique Billings logged her fourth straight double-double, tying the Unrivaled record for consecutive double-doubles.
On the Horizon: Chelsea Gray became the first player to pass 500 career points, and she’s now 24 points away from becoming the league’s first to reach 600.
500 club watch: Breanna Stewart (15 points away) and Allisha Gray (9 away) are within striking distance to join the 500-point club next.
Heart Month + Active Adults

Heart Month is a reminder that everyone should be paying attention to their heart health. Symptoms like chest discomfort, dizziness, or palpitations during exercise aren’t always “just pushing harder” and can be worth checking out.
