Stat Spotlight: Kelsey Plum ๐Ÿ’œ

Six games in, Kelsey Plum is the top scorer in the league, averaging 26.8 points per game while shooting 58.9% from the field and nearly 49% from three. Plum is absolutely on fire.

  • Scoring: The big moments are when she has been at her best, posting a season-high 38 points and 9 assists against Las Vegas on May 23.

  • Playmaking: Her 6.3 assists per game rank sixth in the league, directly creating opportunities for teammates.

  • Shooting: Plum is second the WNBA in three-pointers made, connecting at 48.8% from deep.

When the Sparks needed a boost on May 15 against Toronto, she scored 18 of her 25 in the second half to seal LA's first win of the regular season. Plumโ€™s league-leading scoring and fifth-ranked assists put her in a category of her own.

Feel better, Kelsey! Looking forward to watching you back on court.

Unrivaled Numbers ๐Ÿ“ˆ

The WNBA is two weeks in, and the performances have already been hard to forget. Here are five that stood out.

  • Brittney Sykes and Marina Mabrey ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ 61 combined points
Toronto Tempo def. Phoenix Mercury 98-90 (May 19)
Sykes dropped 31, and Mabrey added 30 with six threes as the expansion Tempo won back-to-back games for the first time. The duo became the first teammates in a franchise's first season to each score 30-plus points in the same game. Toronto hit a season-high 15 three-pointers, and neither team led by double digits in a game with 24 lead changes and 13 ties.

  • Kiki Iriafen ๐Ÿ”ฎ 25 points and 13 rebounds
Washington Mystics def. Indiana Fever 104-102 OT (May 15)
Iriafen shot 64.7% from the floor and a perfect 100% from the free-throw line across 36 minutes. She combined with Citron for 44 points after halftime, dominated the paint, and gave Washington enough cushion to survive overtime.

  • Kelsey Plum ๐ŸŒŸ 38 points and 9 assists
Los Angeles Sparks def. Las Vegas Aces 101-95 (May 23)
The season-high performance came on the road against the defending champions. Plum scored 38 and handed out 9 assists in a statement win while leading the league in scoring.

  • Chelsea Gray โ™ ๏ธ 21 points and a game-winning fadeaway
Las Vegas Aces def. Atlanta Dream 85-84 (May 17)
Gray made a fadeaway jumper in the lane with 3.6 seconds left to steal the win in Atlanta. She finished with 21 points on 5-for-8 shooting from three and six assists, dictating the game's tempo throughout and ending it on her own terms.

  • Angel Reese ๐Ÿ’ค 17 points and 10 rebounds
Atlanta Dream def. Phoenix Mercury 82-80 (May 24)
Reese's third double-double of the season came in the middle of a 9-0 run in 85 seconds that swung the game Atlanta's way in the final minute. Reese has begun to find her way with the Dream, leading the team in rebounding and blocks, and the Dream needed every bit of it in a game that came down to the final possession.

Fueling Unrivaled Performance with Thorne

What does it take to perform at the highest level?

For Unrivaled athletes, precision in fueling and recovery is just as important as what happens on the court. Unrivaled's performance nutrition program is built around individualized fueling strategies tailored to each player's training load, positional demands, and physiology. That means aligning carbohydrate, protein, and fat intake with each athlete's daily output, tracking recovery metrics like sleep quality and menstrual cycle data, and adjusting nutrition in real time when performance dips.

Every player has access to a registered dietitian, and supplementation is handled exclusively through NSF Certified for Sport products from Thorne to ensure safety and consistency. The goal is simple: reduce the mental load around food decisions so athletes can focus on the game.
